Building Better Places Together: extracting value from public land and property
Thursday 18th January 2024, London
Mark Chivers, Director General, Government Property and Chief Property Officer, invites you or a senior colleague to participate in this conference hosted by One Public Estate.
Selected local and central government stakeholders will explore how central and local government can best work together to extract value from property to support public services and to provide the public estate we need, and the resources required to enable this.
This is an opportunity for government departments, councils and wider public sector partners to discuss issues such as planning for future changes in the demand for public services; and the role of the public estate in transforming places, face to face in a closed environment. There will be practical examples from 10 years of the One Public Estate programme, learning from the five emerging Place Pilots, and perspectives from senior leaders.
Lunch and refreshments are provided.
This conference is invitation only, free to attend and will take place at the LGA offices: 18 Smith Square, Westminster, SW1P 3HZ.
Attendance is by invitation only and will be free of charge for those who receive an invitation – places are limited so please ensure that you confirm your place as soon as you can. If you have not received an invitation but believe that you should have please contact the event organisers via enquiries@publicsectorconnect.org to enquire.
