The Government Property Awards are to be presented on the afternoon of Tuesday 27th April and will provide a unique opportunity for property professionals from across the public sector to celebrate successes and to recognise individuals and teams who have made a real difference.
Project of the Year
An outstanding team, undertaking a transformation project that has contributed to excellence and improved outcomes in government property. The winning project may have utilised innovation or digital solutions for the project’s requirements.
Rising Star
For an individual in the first five years of their property career who has made outstanding contributions to their area of work, while maintaining progress in growing their knowledge, skills and experience. The winning individual should demonstrate how they have made substantial achievements already and the potential to succeed further.
Sustainability Champion
An individual or team who demonstrate exceptional commitment to sustainability, whether in the workplace or in their area of responsibility.
Value for Money
An individual or team who demonstrate a commercial approach, sound business judgement and delivery of true value for money, through supplier partnerships or one specific contract.
Inclusivity Ambassador
For an individual, team or network who have made a significant contribution to the diversity and inclusivity agenda with government property, helping the profession, across all sectors, become representative of the public we serve.
Customer Service
For the individual or team that can best demonstrate the highest level or greatest improvement in customer satisfaction for their government property or profession service.
One Team Award
For the team which has demonstrated exceptional collaborative working to achieve improved outcomes within government property or property profession. ‘One Team’ can mean a formal structure within an organisation, a virtual structure across many organisation or functions, and includes collaborative working with a commercial partner.
Judges Choice
This category has no formal criteria but is drawn from all the shortlisted entries of the seven categories above, excluding the winners. The award will go to the nomination which best typifies the ideals of the Government Property Profession as a leading innovative, inclusive, collaborative, robust and modern profession which supports the needs of the wider population,
